I wanted something Scarlet Witch-inspired to wear on our 2022 Disney trip, especially since we were going to be seeing Dr Strange 2 while we were down there at Disney Springs. But I really didn’t like any of the merch I was seeing. I really wanted a spirit jersey, so I decided to just buy a plain spirit jersey and make it look the way I wanted. My inspiration was the end of Wandavision – the silhouette of the Scarlet Witch in a sky of black and red.

Got a plain black cotton spirit jersey on amazon and did a reverse tie-dye with bleach, starting the twist right at the heart area of the chest. Once I had it bleached out the way I wanted, I dyed it red. I created the Wanda silhouette in photoshop based on screencaps, then cut it on my silhouette machine in black glitter HTV and ironed it on in the heart area where I’d started the twist. Really happy with the end result. I ended up having enough HTV leftover I also cut out the Wandavision logo and put it across the back shoulders. I’ve had several people tell me I should’ve done “Scarlet Witch” across the back and I do wish I’d thought of that but since mine was Wandavision themed, I still like the Wandavision text across the back.

I feel like it doesn’t really photograph well. But in real life the black glitter HTV is very sparkly and stands out from the tie-dye really well. I really love how it turned out. Seen a lot of people copy it, and if you want to copy it go for it, I’d just appreciate a shout out when/if you post it on social media.
