I am always about reusing costume pieces, and getting the most use I can out of things I buy for them. Especially back in the early days when it wasn’t always easy to find good solid pieces like boots, wigs, etc.

In this case, I’d bought a white pleated skirt for my upcoming Utena costume, and I had some loose socks on order for my upcoming Yuffie costume. Knowing I also had my Sakura accessories from my Bat Thief Sakura costume, and shoes that would work, I decided to go ahead and put together the top to make a school uniform Sakura.

The base of the top was a black turtleneck I bought on ebay. I added the sailor collar, made of matte satin with red ribbon detail – I used my Sailor Jupiter collar as a pattern guide. Then I added the cuffs as well. Super easy.

I never wore it anywhere, though. Too many costumes, not enough time. The black turtleneck eventually got turned into the base of my Boushh undershirt.
