Summer of 2002 I started cobbling together this costume out of stuff I already had, intending to wear it to MTAC that year. I just wanted a few more “easy” comfy costumes and a costume where I didn’t have to wear a wig and got to wear comfy shoes was the ticket.

The shirt, shorts and boots were out of my closet. The holster was a Jango Fett costume holster I’d bought for no apparent reason? (Hey back in the day if you found a neat costume piece, you bought it in case you might ever need it because stuff like this wasn’t all that easy to come across yet.) And the glasses I bought on ebay, prop gun was one I had. That’s really all there was to this costume.

I decided I didn’t like the shirt I used in these test shots and planned to get a different one before MTAC, but never did, so I didn’t take it to MTAC and put it on the back burner. (It would’ve been great at MTAC though. The A/C in the hotel that year wasn’t working and it was miserable, and this costume of just a tank, shorts and no wig would have been more comfy than anything I did take!)

Anyway, I ended up never wearing it anywhere and all that I have is the 2-3 test shots I took in the yard. I don’t even think I can cobble this back together for a white backdrop shoot at this point – I think I all I have left is actually the sunglasses, I feel like I just saw them in my “random costume pieces” bin recently. Shorts, shoes and top are all gone and I think the holster got cut up for one of Chases’s costumes at one point. Oh well!
