I didn’t quite have my Briar Rose skirt finished to wear to work for Halloween that year. I think I just had the waistband left to put on. But I did have the blouse and bodice finished… so I realized I could cobble together an Ariel village dress out of those parts plus a few other costume pieces.

So I used my red Jean Grey wig, my felt clip-on bow from Britan, the brand new Briar Rose blouse and bodice, and my Belle village skirt, and Belle village flats. Worked fine and was fairly comfy to wear for work! One of these days I swear I’ll do a “real” Ariel costume.
