Donna Troy – Teen Titans
Made for: Dragoncon 2010
Background: A quick, easy costume for Dragoncon. The website I found my stretch netting I wanted for my Mara Jade as Arica costume had a minimum order rule, which my order didn’t meet – so I searched around their site and found a black stretch velvet with silver glitter. What a great excuse to make a Donna Troy costume for Dragoncon, LOL.

KwikSew 3052
Suit:
The suit I made using a Kwiksew bodysuit pattern, just edited for fit and the V-neck. I had planned to self-line it, but when I tried it on it was just too thick and bulky with the second layer – so essentially I ended up with two identical bodysuits. I finished them both off and sold the extra one.
Accessories:
The wig and gauntlets are from my Wonder Woman costume. The belt I made of silver belting, and my husband made the buckle for me. Boots were bought online, and my neckband was made out of the same velvet with a star sewn on. Also made some star earrings.
History:
I wore this to Dragoncon, and then for a photoshoot, and then sold it. I hope it has a happy new home.
