Fluttershy – My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Made for: Dragoncon 2012

Background: I had no intention on making a pony costume but got talked into it by my friends 🙂 I needed it to be very simple, since I already had so much on my plate for Dragoncon.

Ears/Wings:

Jess made my ears, and Ash made my wings! They are awesome.

Skirt:

The skirt I made using a skirt pattern (linked above) I’d been wanting to try anyway. I wasn’t all that happy with most of the cotton I found, and ended up with something a little brighter than I wanted, but I love the skirt and it’s nice to have pockets. I got the cutie mark off etsy and just glued it to the back.

Accessories:

I went with a shirt I already had, and bought a pair of pink shoes on Amazon. My wig was bought on ebay.

History:

This was a fun little costume to wear once or twice, and fun to wear with my friends. I sold it in 2013.
