This is a back-dated post! In 2016 I went back through my old sketchbooks and "rescued" a lot of my old, lost artwork, and I'm slowly getting them re-added to my archives. I think this was initially supposed to be for issue 1, but I went a different direction.

This is a back-dated post! In 2016 I went back through my old sketchbooks and "rescued" a lot of my old, lost artwork, and I'm slowly getting them re-added to my archives. Ylena was an original character who was supposed to eventually show up a side character in SunDowner, but she never did.

At the time I was taken with this new way of colouring without inking. I still rather like this pic... I guess. Except for her hands. She has two right hands. Or two left hands. One or the other, I can't tell, I'm not looking at it at the moment...
