This is a back-dated post! In 2016 I went back through my old sketchbooks and "rescued" a lot of my old, lost artwork, and I'm slowly getting them re-added to my archives.
Costume reference sketch
A more painterly oekaki doodle of Ocha. I did this real quick just to show my friend how an oekaki board worked. Early 2002. (Ocha had longer hair when she was younger, so this is a younger Ocha.) (oekaki was an online social drawing system.)
I did this oekaki to look like the Lulu I did first, but this is my least favourite of the 4 FFX oekakis I did. Her face just doesn't look right. I wish I'd planned it better. (oekaki was an online social drawing system.)
I decided to post all of these together - these were all done throughout Feb 2002. I couldn't get the expression on Qudiar's face to look right, he looks far too happy. Kyte is good though. My second oekaki! a huge improvement over the first, cause I realised how to use layers. Heh. Still a bit sketchy and rough though. Ah... Phis is so pretty. Heh. I did a Gracyn too, ...
Auron is my favourite character. This picture got a little messy (I couldn't find any good references of his sword, darnit), but I love the sleeve. Yes, the stupid sleeve is my favourite part. (oekaki was an online social drawing system.)
Gandalf and Shadowfax, done in record time because I had to leave... messy watercolours but I'm happy with it all the same. There are a few things I would have fixed, but this is just an oekaki after all. (oekaki was an online social drawing system.)
For Tanja's Valentine Project, the only couple I think will ever really happen... or, that is, should ever happen. I did a really rough sketch, scanned it, and used my lovely new tablet I got for Christmas to do the rest. I love my tablet!
