Trip Photos – Round 2

So I wrote the whole trip report out yesterday but of course I only had iphone photos. Today I have our photopass and Chase's pics uploaded! So here's a few. Kevin hadn't met Mr and Mrs Easter Bunny, and we were able to pretty much walk right up and get a photo with them the first day. Honestly I probably would've skipped even uploading this photo except the guy behind ...

Home again

We're home! And I'm sick with a sinus infection AGAIN. I think I've come home with a sinus infection from at least 4 of our Orlando trips in the last year. This one is a real bear, it came on Friday night so all day Saturday and Sunday my face HURT. But I'll get to that later. Let's start at the beginning. As usual I only have my iphone pics for ...

Disney post

I got to wondering why I hadn't heard anything on our magic bands, logged in this morning to see they shipped last week but I never got a notification and neither did Chase. That's really weird. Thankfully I'd done our customizations ages ago when we booked it, so they didn't ship out grey and boring. I'm sure other people's are longer but my list of magic bands is super silly: ...

Disney Wrap-Up 2016

I thought it would be fun to do a "wrap-up" of all of our Disney trips during our #MouseEarsforaYear experience! As a refresher - we bought annual passes this past year! This was a one time, special thing we did - we planned, we scrimped, we saved to be able to do 6 trips over the course of the year. We won't be doing it again the next year (although we ...

The Photopass post

It's the traditional post-Disney photopass picture post! In front of the Christmas Tree at Magic Kingdom! The photographer told us to throw our hands up and look like we owned the place LOL We like catching photographers in places we hadn't seen them before - like this one right outside of Big Thunder Mountain. This one cracks me up. Kevin actually held his hands up for the first part of ...

One more Disney Trip Report

So this trips concludes our #MouseEarsforaYear... our last trip as Annual Passholders (for now -- maybe again in a few years??). It's been really great but honestly I'm so exhausted after this trip (and having 2 so close together) that I'm ready for a few months off LOL CAUTION... there's some puke in this post so if you don't like reading about that, beware! LMAO We left Tuesday night after work ...

Disney, Again

So we finally got to go on our rescheduled October Disney trip! Thursday we left directly after work, drove to Atlanta to spend the night. Our usual overnight hotel in Columbus was booked solid, so we had them move us to one in Atlanta... and it was not great. (When I said "Oh then just move us to one in Atlanta," I expected the one in downtown near the Dcon ...

being a grown-up sucks

Well right about now we should had been nearing the Florida border on our way to Disney World. We would have left after work yesterday and spent tonight at our first ever Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Yesterday we would have spent at Epcot Food and Wine with my cousins, aunt and uncle, and Saturday we would have gone to California Grill. Come home Sunday. But as of noon ...

Disney World Trip Report/Photos Part 1

To continue from my previous Dragon Con post -- we got up Sunday morning at 6 AM and started the drive down into Orlando! YAY! This post consists of my iphone photos and our photopass pics - I haven't gotten Chase's photos yet so that will be part 2. SUNDAY! We finished up our audiobook of Deathly Hallows that morning and swung into Ready Player One - we actually successfully listened to ...
