We're in San Diego! Things got off to a bumpy start, with a 6AM flight out of Memphis with an angry ticket agent and a 30 minute delay due to a malfunction. We were freaking because we only had 50 minutes of overlay time in Minneapolis - but we made it there on time, made our San Diego flight and got here in one piece... including luggage, this time! Shock the monkey! I got a call today from someone from the Marriott. They referenced my reservation I'd made for Dragoncon, a couple of weeks ago. At first I'm thinking, oh crap, something has screwed up. But then she says that when I made my reservation, I was selected to receive an offer - I get to stay at any Marriott, at anytime within a year, for 75% off. Hot HOT ...
