when i said “duti duti”

Ash I’m not gonna tell the story, because I don’t think anyone will find it funny… but I will say: Duti, Duti.

Well, Ash and I went running around yesterday, like I said. First, we went to Target. I have a Target gift card from Christmas, I was planning on buying FF9 with it. So we went back to the electronics department and I looked… they had a space for it, but none in. So I decided to ask. We stood around waiting. And waiting. And waiting. Finally this red-shirted Target guy comes up. “Can I help you?” he mumbles.
“Yeah,” says I. “Do you have anymore of FF9?” I point to the case. “Final Fantasy 9?” I add, just to make sure he knows what I mean.
“What’s that for?” he says.
“Playstation.” I said.
I swear he said snorted and said, “Oh we won’t have more of those until May.”
Ash says he said, “Oh we don’t have any of those in the back.”
I think that he somehow thought I was talking about a playstation 2. Not the game.

Anyway, Ash bought a couple of CDs at Target, and then we went to Toys R Us to see if they had anymore Masters of the Universe figures. They were pretty low on them by now, so we wandered around and looked at stuff. We found that they had all their Star Wars figures for $1.97. All of them! Even the Han Solo with the Gunner Station and Darth Vader with his little Tie Fighter station with concussion missiles were $1.97! So I got the Han Solo and Ash got the Darth Vader. Then we wandered around some more, and found a whole section of GRINCH toys. They were all on sale, and they were all pretty disturbing. There was one… it was definitely based on the movie, because it was very creepy looking. I would say it – well, it was this one. In it’s box there was a little hole in the plastic where you could reach in, push and make him talk. Do you know WHERE that little hole was situated? Right over the Grinch’s… well, you get the idea. The fact that you had to push *there* to make him talk… Ash and I nearly died laughing.

Then we found these! Giant plush Max dogs!! On sale for $6.98! We both bought one. I named mine Cheez-ums.

After that we went to the mall, and nothing much interesting happened there. In fact, nothing much interesting happened after that, so I’ll end this entry here.
Now, I’m off to make an Abercrombie wish list. I hope I have some money on my credit card, ’cause I need to buy clothes. Lots of clothes. Lots and lots of clothes.
