I wonder why I don’t hear more about The Rutles. It’s a must if you’re a Beatles fan. I finally found it on tape some years back, and the CD also (my dad already had the record album). It’s so funny, the songs are great. I mean, look at this cast! As the “Prefab Four,” you’ve got John Halsey (as Barry Wom), Ricky Fataar (as Stig O’Hara), Neil Innes (as Ron Nasty), and Eric Idle (as Dirk McQuickley). And then Michael Palin, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner… even Lorne Michaels… and George Harrison! And those are the ones off the top of my head… if you can find it, definitely see it (Amazon.com doesn’t even have any right now ! They have the DVD but it’s a special order..) I just realised I also have it on CD-ROM. I’d forgotten about that *lol* I bought it the same day I got Carl Perkins’ autograph…
