Ugh. I’ve been going thru one of those “I’m a horrible artist” moods every artist goes thru… maybe it’s cause my last 3 illus projects have turned out to be crap. But don’t worry about me, it’s just a phase.
Sigh! while I’m ranting, why can’t people understand that I’m not some faceless, emotionless popular drone that just pops out artwork? I’m just a young art student learning my craft and wasting time on the internet in the meantime. It’s so weird to hear my name being said (or typed) in conversation by someone I’ve never met or talked to… heh, once someone at the mall came up behind me and said, “Hey, are you the one who drew that Cloud picture?” I was freaked out for a moment until I turned around and realised it was one of my cousin’s friends… but still it was freaky LOL
And for those who asked, I will not be drawing anything at Animazement! I mean, I’ll bring my sketchbook to draw on the plane and at night in the hotel room, but I’m not sitting around anywhere š I probably won’t even drag it around with me. I had a dream last night… the plane crashed on the way there, but somehow we survived. We went to the hotel room, and I realised I’d forgotten not only my costume, but all my money as well, and dad wouldn’t give me any of his money! Then I thought, “no way, this is a dream. It’s a dream! wake up!” And then I opened my eyes and woke up. It was very weird.
