Catherine and I had another adventure last night.
I met her at IHOP, of course. We went in and ate, as usual. They had those cute little toothpicks in the sandwiches that look like flags, you know? I collected them all and brought them home with me. We talked a little about the Halloween party, but not much. There’s not much to talk about, anyway. Mostly we talked about MTAC and our costumes.
Then, since we had an hour and a half before the movie started, I suggested we go over to Target so I could look for clear Elmer’s glue. I just left my car at IHOP and rode with Catherine. We found a parking space close to the front, and just as she pulled into it we realised some guy had been coming from the other way to get it. We both felt kinda bad about it, but we’d gotten there first. And he backed up and took one not that far away from us, anyway. As we walked up to the store, he yelled at us, “Nice job, girls. I hope you don’t come back and find your tires slashed.” I told him to calm down. He said, “oh yeah, I’ll calm down.” Good, that’s what I suggested! I didn’t really think any more about it, but Catherine was totally freaked out and insisted we leave and go to Wal-mart instead.
So we did. We wandered around Wal-mart for a while. I found the black fabric I needed for my wings, but I didn’t get it. I almost got (another) Harry Potter backpack, since it was only $5. Then I decided not to get it, because I found all the Harry Potter action figures. Anyone who knows me knows I have a weakness for action figures. I got 2, regular Harry and Hermione. I almost got Snape, but I decided to save him for later. I want that Dumbledore! They didn’t have him though.
So then we went on over to the theater. I actually managed t get a bottle coke out of one of those machines in the hall. They never work. Then Cath went back to get one, and it took her money >D
Zoolander was so funny. I haven’t laughed out loud that much at a movie in ages. I told Na that she has to see it, and that I’d be more than willing to go see it again with her.
Gotta go get ready to run errands.
