Work, work, work

Wednesday night, I focused on getting the sleeve mock-up finished up:

Pretty happy with the shape. Somewhere I have a bag of tulle I want to stuff them with but I didn’t have the energy to look for it.
I also got the trim along the neckline quickly sewn on, though last night I went back and tightened it up a little.

Chase helped me get my stencil cut out last night —

I blew up one of the flowers from the art, printed it out to my size and transferred it over to a thin piece of plastic. It’s just going to be a guideline for placing everything, not a hard and fast rule.

I forgot to post my spoonflower fabric!

This isn’t for Tightrope Walker of course… this is for Queen Arianna (Rapunzel’s mom), just for the front panel of the bodice. I blew up one of the screencaps and redrew the design. It ended up being a little bit bigger printed than I wanted, I may redo it, I may not. We’ll see. But I’m very happy with the quality, this was my first time getting something on spoonflower’s satin.

Last but not least, Chase surprised me with this Marc Davis book I’ve wanted for ages:

Yaaay! Ok back to work.
