An End to the Anne Fabric Debacle

This is part 2 to this post, way back OVER a month ago…

So I thought my fabric searches were over and done with. I had that last 4 yards coming in from Murfreesboro and that would give me 14 yards all together, which should be enough.
Well time goes by and they never call to say my fabric is in. Chase calls up there for me and they tell him the 4 yards had black marks all over it and was unusable, so they’re looking to get more from other stores. Ok…

Well go by a couple more weeks and Chase calls them up again. Everything they’re getting in has black marks. Which is funny, because the only review of this fabric on their site gives it a 1 star due to the black marks (but none of the stuff I bought before had it). They’re still trying to get some non-marked stuff in, though.

Chase finally just went up there today to see what they had, because at this point it’s been over a month and I’m still without my 4 yards. Turns out 8 yards from another location arrived just last night, and they pull the bolt out and inspect it. It’s got dirt and water stains on a bit at the end, and some small black marks throughout – but enough clean spots that I can work around them.

After all that Joann came through – they gave me all 8 yards for $20. Score. So now I have more than enough, even with remove the damaged parts.

Now onto finding some gold fabric that doesn’t look like cheap Christmas decorations….
