It’s dcon time.
Well almost. Uuuuugh I still have to get through a day and a half of work.
I just wanna GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO seeing everybody already on the road or already there is driving me crazy.
I’ve got everything packed and ready to go, except the headdress since I’m still hand-sewing on it… I’ve got a space left for it in my duffel bag.
I’ve got it down to:
The 1 medium sized bin
2 garment bags
1 duffel bag
1 wig box
1 poster tube
1 makeup case
1 cooler
And apparently all Marriott rooms have mini-fridges now?? So I probably won’t even worry with putting ice bricks in the cooler – maybe one, because now I’m thinking about grabbing some turkey to make sandwiches with, if I have a permanently cool spot to keep it in and don’t have to worry about constantly refilling the cooler with ice.
I rushed home yesterday afternoon and the mail had already run! It was early! Annnnnnd no wig….. but I did get a pink postcard with chicken scratch all over. Seriously the mailman just scribbled a bunch of stuff with a black sharpie – couldn’t read the tracking number at all, couldn’t read the times it said it was available for pickup and the black sharpie obliterated all the text on the postcard so you couldn’t even really tell what was marked.
So Chase went in late to work today so he could go by the post office and pick it up. He’s going to drop it off here at my office before he goes on into work, but I’m going to wait and open it when I get home. Which means it also gets to go to my hair appt with me this afternoon. (At least my hair will look nice when I take video of opening it up on instagram later today…)
LOL when I take an afternoon nap Luna usually curls up with me, but it was too hot yesterday for the blanket so I laid down with out. So she wedged herself onto my pillow with me.
Sims Star Wars game update. I shortened their life spans so I could get more out of my dinner-time sim-time.
Ben and Rey have both aged up.
Luke has a beard now. And he and Leia have both gotten a little fluffy. Trying to make them workout in the backyard occasionally LOL.
This was my fav event of last night:
Ben was trying to cook breakfast and caught the stove on fire. He, Han and Luke all ran out of the house and stood out front. Leia came and extinguished the fire and Rey just walked thru like, whatever, I’ve got leftover spaghetti to eat.
Then the sprinklers went off and Leia went and got her own breakfast, too. The boys were still huddled up outside. LOL
So I’m going to attempt, one last time, to figure out when I’m wearing what.

Sunday late night: ?? whatever I feel like. Maybe swing back around to TFA Leia or Mon Mothma again – something comfy.
Padme update:
Fixed her face shape, started on her neck, finished her hair, started on the crown. I doubt I’ll get around to playing with it much more this week. But I’m happy with the way it’s going.
