I haven’t posted much lately… haven’t had much of anything to post! Went to my grandma’s for the weekend. Came back Saturday just to go to the Ren Faire with friends (I said I’d do it… I did it)… this time I wasn’t messing around.
No attempt at curls, just a ponytail. Much better. Threw my flower crown I got at Megacon on, too.

Normally I’d be working like mad getting ready to leave for Dragon Con. We’d probably be on our way to Atlanta right now normally. I actually did remember a couple of things I needed to do before we left — I forgot I needed to fix Edith’s collar, so I did that last night. Aaaand I decided I want to re-pleat my Tightrope Walker skirt. So that’s tonight. Along with some more packing.
Tomorrow, helping Kristie. Thursday, more packing. Friday – I’m off work so errands, packing, cleaning, etc. Also probably a swim.
Saturday we’ll head to Atlanta. We are planning on getting in around noon-1. I have no schedule of any kind — I’d like to get to the Disney shoot at the Hilton but it’s unlikely. We’re staying with my cousin, who is a director, and won’t know where her room is until she gets there tomorrow. And once we get there — find her and get a key. So I can’t make any plans for the afternoon, once we get in the room and see where we are at, I’ll be able to figure out when I’m wearing what. The only two “for sures” are Edith and Tightrope Walker — Capt Marvel and Janet Snakehole are just back-ups. We’ll definitely be at the Ryan’s Army shoot, but that’s the only thing I have planned for sure.
Really just playing the whole day by ear. I hope it all works out ok. I just have to go with the flow and not get anxious when things don’t go right. Think calming thoughts.
And then onto Disney! OMG this is going to be the best trip ever. I get Dragoncon AND Disney in the same weekend.

Be Our Guest – dinner
One of only 2 repeats for us on this trip… this will be our second time at Be Our Guest for dinner. I originally booked this one when we were trying to get my parents to go on this trip, since they’d never been for dinner – I kept it after they bowed out. But, we haven’t been since right after it opened, so I’m excited to see what’s changed.

We ALWAYS do Tutto Italia because it’s a fav of ours (especially Chase’s) but decided we needed to try Via Napoli for once. PIZZA! Although… if Chase would let me buy tickets to the Halloween party that night I’d drop this reservation like a hot potato. Just sayin’.
La Hacienda de San Angel
Another new one… I’ve eaten at the other place in Mexico in Epcot – the place in the pyramid – over 15 years ago at this point. I’m excited to try this place.
