#MouseEarsforaYear

So I’ve already been doing some Disney plannings for our trips next year.

Mostly just looking at dates, and making some dining reservations!

We are doing a short solo trip early next year; for that trip I’ve booked…

1. Be Our Guest – breakfast! We’ve eaten here for lunch and dinner, but breakfast started right before or right after our last trip? So it wasn’t do-able either way. When Ash went a few weeks ago, they had breakfast at Be Our Guest and said it was great. So I’m excited to give it a try.

2. The Garden Grill at Epcot – we tend to stick to the World Showcase for Epcot meals (with a couple of breakfasts at Sunshine Seasons stuck in there), so I’m excited to give this place a try. All I had to do was show Chase pictures of Chip and Dale greeting guests and he was sold.

3. Yak & Yeti – we’ve only eaten at Animal Kingdom ONCE and that was just a quick service breakfast. (I’m also hoping to finally ride Expedition Everest. We don’t spend a lot of time at AK as you can tell…)

For our Memorial Day/Megacon trip with the boys…

1. Crystal Palace – breakfast! We wanted to do a character dining with them, and decided to do Crystal Palace since it’s the only sit-down location we’ve never been to in Magic Kingdom. Also getting into park early is a plus.

2. 50’s Primetime Cafe – Another new one for us – I’ve always wanted to eat here because the food is right up my alley, but I’m always worried we’ll get a server who is TOO into it and embarrass me LOL But I figure taking the boys here will be fun, they would get a kick out of it.

3. Rose & Crown – The first year we went it was with the boys and we ate here, and Chase’s brother still talks about getting a beer here. So we had to go back; Rose and Crown is a tradition for us, we’ve never had a trip where we didn’t eat there (although we didn’t schedule one for the first trip next year!)

4. Tutto Italia – I know I’ve told this story before, but when we went with the boys that first year, we didn’t really plan ahead much and didn’t realize we needed reservations. We wandered around World Showcase all afternoon looking for a place that had an opening for dinner, and finally in Italy, they told us they had an open reservation for something like 8:30 that night. That was a long time to wait, but we wait it out, we did. By the time we got there and got seated we were SO HUNGRY. It was before the remodel, so it was so crowded and noisy… when the waiter came we all just kinda basically shoved our menus back at him and ordered quick-fire. Thankfully they brought it all out fast and it was SO GOOD. Nobody stopped to talk, or breathe. Every single person finished their plate, and we were so happy and full. To this day that’s still the best lasagna I’ve ever had. To me Tutto Italia has never been as good as that first time, but we wanted to go back with the boys again this trip for fun 🙂
