Indy’s been sick all weekend. Drinking a lot of water and peeing way more than usual. She’s had several accidents, just since late last week. At first thought she was just off her “schedule” after she got sick to her stomach weekend before last, because that’s happened several times before – but now not sure. Hoping it’s just a bladder infection of some sort. I’m making myself sick over it. Mostly worried over her, also worried about when we’re going to be able to get her out to the vet, worried about paying for it, worried about her getting sicker while we’re at dragoncon. ugh. I couldn’t get to sleep last night over it, cried all the way to work. Don’t know what to do.
I got my Johanna dress done. Well, almost. Tacking down the underskirt still, will finish that tonight. I got all the ruffles finished, attached, sewn onto the dress, edges finished on skirt pieces, and finished the top edge. Besides the underskirt tacking, still need to put in hooks and eyes on the shirt and attach the shoulder piece. Tonight gluing the “wood” pieces to my shirt.
It ain’t perfect. It’s honestly one of the sloppiest things I’ve made in a long time. But at this point I don’t really care.
Last night I needed a break so I pulled out some Marvel Comics fabric I bought a while back and made a new bag for the con.
