More Anne stuff

I really dug in to try to finish the skirt last night, but finishing the interior seams took longer than I expected, so that’s what I did most of the night – they’re still not done, still finishing up a few places.
I did cut the pieces for my underskirt, and with what was left over, played with the cape/train piece:

I was hoping to have plenty of my gold taffeta leftover to make the train she also wears... but my sleeves took up much more fabric than I planned so I didn't have near enough for it.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram

Here’s the back uncovered before I started messing with the skirt. so purty

The skirt before hemming. Had to move it out into the bedroom where there was more room to get a proper photo. Sleeves are attached now, too.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram

Another shot with the cape/train thing. The gold fabric – looks like gold-lamé in the film, but I couldn’t find any that didn’t look extremely Halloween-costume cheap. So I went with a taffeta instead.

The front…

Same status as previous photo - just a view from the front. The hoopskirt here is my old Belle one that I added flounces (seen here)to. It was woefully out of shape and droopy. I removed the flounces and it popped right back to life. The flounces were just too heavy.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram

I’ve GOT to get up underneath that hoopskirt and rebend all the wires. They are so terribly bent out of shape.
