One of the questions I get a lot from random people is how do I wear so many costumes at Dragoncon? (On average, I usually wear around 12 costumes at Dragoncon.)
Let’s say an “average” non-costumer is at Dragoncon for the same amount of time as we are (4 1/2 days). Each day they wear a different change of clothes. Each night, they change into pajamas or whatever they sleep in. So, a non-costumer at Dragoncon is already making 10 or so clothing changes themselves.
So from now on when someone acts all astounded that I can wear 12 different costumes at Dragoncon, I’m just going to assume “changing clothes” is foreign to them and they wear the same clothes for 4 1/2 days.
