Almost every year, when I post my Dragoncon planned costumes, I always get a few comments or questions regarding how I manage to wear so many costumes.
Well I’m going to tell you my secret… at conventions, I really don’t do much of anything else but wear costumes.
This right here is what we do most of the time at Dragoncon (or any convention) – sitting around and goofing off:
I get up, put on a costume. Take some pics, then wander around. My fav thing to do at Dragoncon is to wander around because there’s so many places to go and you never know what you’ll see. After wandering, we’ll find a place to sit and people/costume watch.
Then, change for maybe some photoshoot where I need to wear a different costume. Then, lunch..
Panels? Nah, we’re not really into them. But let’s change into another costume again because my shoes hurt and maybe a shuffle around the dealer’s room, and then more people watching.
Or some more wandering
Celeb autographs? Nah. But my costume’s too hot, so then it’s time for a different costume, then dinner, then more people watching.
Then maybe some drunken pics of each other
Another costume? Sure! There’s a gathering I want to go to! Then let’s wander around some more, because you can find the most interesting things happening in the bottom of the Hyatt late night.
