Last night was Project Runway night, so I worked on my embroidery a bit, so otherwise not a lot of pics to show.
I did try on my Antoinette wig:

It’s amazingly well balanced. Didn’t need a single bobbie pin to keep it on my head. Of course I’ll put some bobbie pins in when I wear it at dcon, just in case, but it’s not bad. Not too heavy; and doesn’t pull to the side or back or to the front.
I also worked on another wig, for one of the Surprises.

I bought it on ebay a while back, but once I started working on it realised it wasn’t thick enough. I had a blonde wig that matched it exactly from last year that I’d cut the back out of for… I don’t remember, I think maybe Gaga? No clue, can’t remember. Anyway it was missing about a 4×4 section in the back and was just tossed in a drawer. I sewed them together and it made it perfectly thick. Yay!
I’m going to post what the Surprises are next weekend; I may post at least one of them here, since it’s the one I have the most work left to do on and it’s getting annoying to just refer to it a surprise all the time.
