We had a Halloween party at work today, lots of yummy food and a costume contest and people dressed up.
We had a black-eyed pea, a witch, a sort-of pirate, Julia Child (kevin), two fairies, an old lady, Foxy Brown, a vampire and an aerobics instructor. Here’s a few pics.
First up, Kevin’s Julia Child costume. Wig is his Napoleon Dynamite wig, I made the necklace and apron, the shirt, skirt and shoes were all from goodwill, and the hose were some I had.
When he wears it tomorrow, I’m hoping to have the skirt belted so it stops slipping down, a little blush, and no facial hair LOL
I didn’t finish Briar Rose – I could have stayed up late and finished it but wasn’t feeling it. So since I had the bodice and shirt done, I wore it with my Belle dress and my Phoenix wig and had a cobbled together Ariel:
