So, last night, I used up the last of my aisle runner.
This thing:
Super cheap shiny fraying white satin. I don’t even remember how many yards I ended up with. It was a LOT. I never expected to get it back, for some reason I never thought of that – but when we got home from the honeymoon, there it was, wrapped back up on the cardboard tube it came on.
So, I started using it for costumes. Mostly mock-ups. Last night I finally used the last of it. So, this post is in honour of the white-satin-that-could, that lasted for 2 1/2 years. Everything off the top of my head, I KNOW I’m missing a few things:
1. I used it for all the ruffles on my most recent Belle hoopskirt
2. Mockups for Aurora’s shoulder and hip parts
3. Anne mockups AND petticoat
4. Snow White bodice, collar & sleeve patterns and mockups
5. Jane skirt mockups and (unused) petticoat
6. Patterns for every single blue piece of Mara Jade as Arica
7. Mockups for Supergirl bodice
8. Mockup for Alyss collar
9. Mockups for Gaga bodice and skirt:
And, finally, the last bit of it went to the mockups of my Briar Rose sleeves.
Thanks white satin! 😀
