Donna Troy Progress Pic

Yesterday I had a wonderful surprise – my MST3K dvd set I preordered last month came a day earlier than I expected! It has Jack Frost on it, which is one of my favs and I lost my copy a while back. So I popped it in and got a lot of work done last night.

My Donna Troy fabric came Monday, so since that was a quick project I got started on it.

I got the basic suit cut out and put together Monday night, then last night I finished the edges, put the zipper in and fixed some fit issues. In that pic it’s still got pins in the neckline. I also went ahead and made the collar – I need to put a snap in it, and I need to get a hook-and-eye to put above the zipper. The belt I haven’t touched, I just pinned the basic piece on to see how it would look, so I’ve got to finish that, and I’ve got to buy my boots.

I also got started on the bodice for Surprise costume #2. I got it about halfway put together and I’m hoping to get it 90% done tonight.
