It’s been over a week since I last posted!!
Been busy. Working on getting stuff ready for Huntsville this past weekend!
Huntsville was half awesome and half sucky.
The sucky:
My mom fell in the driveway before we left and sprained her wrist, my dad got some kind of bug bite on his arm that got continually worse throughout the weekend, between my Parade Amidala and Leia ceremonial shoes I ended up with about 10 blisters on my feet (worse than any Comic Con or Dragoncon), and Ash got really sick saturday morning and ended up at the minor med!
The awesome:
Chase was not injured and was not sick in anyway. LMAO.
It was fun having my parents with us. I managed to get the Amidala hair up even though it wasn’t perfect. Got to wear ceremonial Leia for the first time in 3 years (still not happy with it but c’est la vie) and it went over surprisingly well. Wore Ewok Leia (my backup costume) and got recognized by 1 person. LOL. Got to eat at Five Guys! Great to see so many folks we don’t get see much anymore or only see at Dragoncon, and the museum was AWESOME. I haven’t been in probably 10 years and was flipping out at the great changes they’ve made, and from just plain nostalgia 🙂
