In order to do my new Wonder Woman parts, Chase wanted to take a body cast of me. (Also will be for things in the future)
So we did that today… it was so gross. And the best part? I totally passed out.
For just a second or two, but I’ve never passed out before in my life, even last year when my anemia was so bad.
Luckily no damage to the molds – we were almost done with the back part and it just popped off, LOL I sat down for a while and had a drink and decided to carry on since I never really wanted to have to do this again! Towards the end of the front piece I started feeling woozy again so Chase hurried it up and got it off me, but again it was towards the end so it was pretty much done.
I’ll have to get Chase to take pics of them. They’re so weird looking.
I’ve been sewing on the big project a little but nothing major done yet, I’m hoping to have some pics to post in a few days.

This was the second round of Belle pics. The first set I never did anything with – I felt like I had my wig on too high and I wasn’t happy with how the hoopskirt looked in them. So we retook them LOL
My Rogue legbands were too big. I had to glue then on while I was wearing it so they’d stay up, LOL.

Oh dear! That’s no good! It could have been a number of things though: dehydration, hunger, tiredness, low blood pressure. I hope you’re ok now though!
I’ve been thinking about doing a torso cast for a while, since there’s a few armours that I want to do. Tossing up between torso cast and working with a mannequin. What process did you use?
The photos look great! I’m always checking flickr to see when you’ve added more! You’re so lucky to have a resident Photographer in the house š They’re so professional, perfect for a portfolio! That first Belle skirt swishing photo looks like you’re running away! It’s fantastic!

Got a question: Do you have any suggestions for dying rayon velveteen? My Green Padme is coming along really well except I just cant get the color right. I was hoping to use it to get accepted into the Rebel Legion but I know the color just wont fly with them.

If I had something like that I would probably buy several types/colours from dharmatrading.com and test them on swatches until I found something that worked… but that can get pricey. Maybe email dharma and see what brand they recommend right off the bat.

i’ve never really thought about it LOL the only thing I do is I have a fullbody sheer suit I wear underneath all my spandex suits… it was recommended to me by the lady at our dancewear store, I suppose that helps!

I only did a front chest cast for my armour, but that took long enough. Sticky and cold..
