Hopefully we should have the pics from my friend Kristie’s camera soon, and also of course from our photographer Pete. But here’s a couple I snagged off a friend’s facebook for now:
Me & Chase running down the aisle… I love my bouquet š
My MOH and flowergirl coming down the aisle!
Really, I couldn’t be happier with how it all went. A couple of little snags, but they didn’t matter in the end. I DID eat, I had a little bit of everything, the get-away car was awesome, I finally got to find out where we stayed that night! LOL (Chase kept it secret from me for almost a year!) Absolutely gorgeous hotel downtown.
The honeymoon was great, our resort was amazing, we rode ATVs through the jungle, rode waverunners, went horseback riding, went to Chichen-Itza, swam with dolphins, and finally got sunburnt on the very last day while snorkeling (both of us! Chase worse than me, though, I was pretty fastidious with the sunblock, even so I think I did manage to actually raise my skintone from “dead fish” to “barely alive”). I did get a little home-sick, mostly over food. The food on the resort was good, I just really wanted some regular comfort food – and a good ice cold coke, which was impossible to find! It’s McDonald’s tonight, baby.
I just can’t believe it’s all over, you know? After all the planning, the stress and everything, it was all over and gone in a couple of hours. And then Chase & I were left with the sudden oddity that we were married. I think we spent several hours over dinner and sitting out on the beach saying things like, “OMG you’re my husband,” LOL.
