I’m back from a WONDERFUL weekend in nashville!
Friday night we went out and got Chase’s new phone, then we went and ate at the Cheesecake Factory! I love eating there, we don’t have one in Memphis (that I know of), so it’s a treat. I had the vanilla bean cheesecake and it was soooo good, especially with the strawberrys I stole off Chase’s strawberry shortcake. ha.
We were going to go see Hollywoodland that night, but were so tired at dinner we decided to put it off til Sunday.
Then saturday was the big day Chase had been planning, he actually managed to keep it secret from me until right up til we got there! That morning we went and got my room at the Renaissance hotel (for me and the girls that night) and when Ash and Melissa got there, we walked over to the Gaylord Entertainment Center – Chase took us to see Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes! Hee! When I was trying to figure out what we were doing for my bday, I went on ticketmaster ages ago and looked up what was happening in Nashville that day and saw that – but I didn’t think he’d take me! (I didn’t think HE’D want to go!) It was so much fun. All the little girls were dressed up like various princesses (I told Melissa, we should have worn OURS!) It was seven segments, each one about one of the princesses – Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, and Mulan, with a shortened version of their story. The coolest, IMO, was the Sleeping Beauty part, because of the dragon! I was disappointed by Belle’s, they came out and did “Be Our Guest” and that was it. Chase was sad there was no Beast costume (at the end, she came out with the prince). But it was all really cool and fun, and I got a cinderella cup.
Then we went to Joe’s crab shack, and I was the only one who had crab legs! but it was good, and fun.
Thank you Chase, like the girls said, you did good! 😀
Then Chase left to go watch his football game, and me and the girls went out for partial Melissa’s bachelorette party/partial my birthday. When we first went out (downtown nashville), nothing was going on, so we went and had dessert at the melting pot. LOL, it was sooooo good. Then we went to the wild horse, because ash had never been, and laughed at the people dancing. We stayed there for a while, then we left and just walked around looking at people and stuff… it’s not as crowded and interesting as beale street is on a saturday night, but its still pretty cool. Then we found this other place with a guy just playing a guitar, so it was easier to talk, so we stayed there til about 2. then back to the hotel and to sleep…
In the morning we got room service, and Chase came and picked me up and the girls went home. Then we went out to find a place to fly Chase’s plane, and this time it worked good! We went over to Todd and Starla’s, and Starla’s Amidala dress is AMAZING. Wow.
Then we went back to Chase’s so I could take a nap, and then we went and saw Hollywoodland, and then back home for a late dinner and some Empire Strikes Back.
Then this morning I stopped by Mema’s on the way back to memphis… that was nice!
Not 100% sure about plans for this coming weekend… I’d like to take it somewhat easy as it seems every weekend through november we have something going on.
