I just kinda tossed the hair up for the picture so it’s not right, but here’s everything but the jewelry. Hopefully Chase will be casting those for me tomorrow night.
I’m going to make another pregnancy pad – I don’t like that one… it’s just a pillow and it won’t stay put.
Those are pants #2. They’re too light, but I think I’m just going to leave them that way instead of taking a chance and ruining another pair. I might keep messing with the first pair and see if I can get them looking better… it just depends on the time I have left this weekend.
Lake v.3.0
Very very rough draft of the outer drape. This is just some $1 a yard fabric from walmart pinned on while I was in Nashville to get the shape about right (my dressform had to ride back to Memphis in my car in the front seat, seatbelt and everything LOL). I took it apart tonight to use as a rough pattern for cutting the outer material.
I also got the base dresses cut out and put together. (if you wonder why I talk about the lake dress in plural occasionally – it’s because I’m making two of them at the same time, one for me and one for a friend.) Tomorrow morning before work I’m going to dye them, so they have time to dry before I get home… hem them, put the neck strap in… and start cutting out the outer drape.
