Oh, I guess I should mention I read Harry Potter on Monday.
Did I like it? Uh… I don’t know. It left me with a bad taste in my mouth. When I got done reading it, it didn’t feel as though I’d just finished reading a Harry Potter book, do you know what I mean? I wasn’t left with a sense of wonder and excitement. And I don’t blame that on the death of that character. It just wasn’t there.
And I don’t know if that’s because of the book or because of me. Maybe trying to cram it in during my con downtime? I’ll have to read it again.
