when i hated buying swimsuits

I think next year I’m going to make my own swimsuit.
I just spent 2 hours looking around online for a decent swimsuit. It’s ridiculous. I like a two piece – but it’s impossible to find a two piece that doesn’t look like it’ll fall off if I decided to… oh, I don’t know, MOVE?
Seriously, I’ve got to have a substantial top. I do too much rough housing when I’m on the beach/at the pool (more so at the beach) to wear some crappy little piece of fabric held on with a piece of string.

I also like boycut shorts, which aren’t as popular as they used to be.
I also don’t like girly looking swimsuits – I don’t like floral prints or ruffles, which seems 80% of swimsuits are this year.
I finally, finally found something decent at Target – actually they had two I liked, amazingly enough. Unfortunately my first choice they didn’t have my size. Like, not even close. My second choice I bought – they had my size in the bottom, but I had to do with a medium in the top. If it’s too loose, it has a buckle in the back, so it would be easy to take up.

I think like, 2 years ago, I went on a swimsuit buying spree… I bought 5 swimsuits at old navy because they had colours I liked, in styles I liked. Those have lasted me two summers, but now I’m tired of them, and they’re starting to get worn out. It’s time for some new blood :B

But next year, I need to start looking for a swimsuit in like, february. I’m going to disneyworld and I’ll want a good one to wear under my clothes at the park, and of course wear to the waterpark.

And lord knows, since I’m going with my cousins, there will be MAJOR rough housing at the waterpark. Stringy things would not last five minutes.
