Today…
Ash and I ran around all day. First we went to Salvation Army to look for shoes for my Urd costume, shoes for Ash’s Yuna costume, and a skirt for her Yuna. I didn’t find any shoes. Ash found some but they were too small. We actually found a *great* Yuna skirt – but it was too small too š I told Ash she should just go back and get it and we would make it work.
Then we looked through the shirts. Ash found the coolest shirt. It’s kind of a gold colour. You know, a deep yellow. On the front it’s got a little cartoon of Elton John and his band – it’s a 1974 Elton John tour shirt. How cool is that? For $3 and in good shape… what a find!
Then we ate lunch at my aunt’s. Looked at dragon con pictures from last year. Went to Wal-mart. Ash got Tomb Raider on vhs, I got best of Friends v. 4, and some star wars stickers.
Then I went to pick out a bikini I could use to make a Lum costume with. I found a top that would work great… but the bottoms that went with it were too big. So I picked out another bottom that didn’t go with the top… and was a lot cheaper! So I got a mismatched pair. I’m glad the lady at the counter didn’t say anything. I wanted to tell her when she rang it up, that no, I wasn’t planning on wearing it like that!
