Why are there so many cons during the school year? I asked dad if we could go to Sugoi Con in November. He said maybe, which is as good an answer as I’ll ever get. If it weren’t for the fact that MTAC is the weekend before that, I might have a pretty good chance of going. (MTAC is within driving distance, but still it’ll cost money for the hotel and general expenses…)
The major problem is, like I said, school. Mine’s not really a problem, but I’m not going to go without a friend. I’m only having classes mon-wed next semester, so missing that friday is no big deal, and if worse comes to worse I can miss a monday class. Ash, if she could go to both, would have to miss two days of school. Or, possibly, we could drive to Nashville Friday night for MTAC, but we’d miss a lot of Friday.
Hmph. And not only those 2 cons right together, but the last weekend of October is a scifi con in Jackson we were talking about going to… And of course, Halloween in the middle. Geez!
anyway. I’ll stop blathering about cons and costumes for a while, now.
