Ash and I went to the mall today… we bought some stuff to give to my aunt, I got a new shirt, and I got what was SUPPOSED to be my mom’s mothers day present, but SHE can’t seem to keep out of my CAR, so I’m not giving it to her! Ash got some candy and a new stuffed monkey, which she named Emeril.
We went to Chic-Fil-A to get lunch, and we were sitting in the drivethru. I was looking at the stuff we’d bought for my aunt, and Ash was messing with the monkey, hanging it on the “oh-hell-handle” above the door and such. There were some young guys loading some stuff in a car nearby, and Ash said, “I wish those guys would look over here.”
I asked why, expecting her to say, “I want to see if they’re cute,” or “I want to see if I know them.”
She said, “Cause I have a monkey hanging in the window!!!!!!”
We also came up with an idea for an Emeril video game. You play Emeril, and you have to go through each stage and collect various items for your new dish. You are armed with various kitchen utensils, ranging from pans to egg beaters, because there are EVIL cooks out there, trying to prevent you from creating a culinary masterpiece! Once you collect everything, your reward is something good to eat. The final boss would be Martha Stewart… naturally, since we all know she is evil incarnate.
I spent most of the rest of the night working on my poster, while Ash looked at this website that came with the monkey she bought. She found some Monkey Masks you could print and colour for your monkeys, and since I own five, we both decided to make one. They turned out pretty cool. Then I worked some more while she played Sims.
I really gotta take this Tekken game back… it was supposed to go back Thursday. But not now, now I’m going to bed.
