I went to the Memphis in May music fest year before last, and it wasn’t the best experience of my life. I did see a lot of great bands – particularly Cheap Trick and Big Star – but it was a whole lot of walking, and a LOT of people. While I was sitting there watching Cheap Trick, this guy like, 3 feet away started throwing up on himself. Ugh. So I didn’t go last year, and there’s really no one coming this year to make me want to go again. There’s quite a few I wouldn’t *mind* seeing, but… well.
