I finally finished the beading on the top (except for the upper band)! I got to move on to the lower half last night. I decided to pin it onto my dressform this morning for a better picture. I allllllmost got the top finished last night. I’m alllllllllllmost done with the top section. I think if I really push tonight I could have it pretty much done. I need to finish doing the circles on the right (hate doing those), bead them, finish that one middle piece on the right, do the beading along the top edge and the rest of the large beads.

Monday I focused on getting the bottom half of the dress patterned out. Chase printed it for me Tuesday — but we had to go help with moving some stuff at my grandma’s that night, so by the time we got home i was too tired to do anything with it. So yesterday I got my quasi-light table set up…

So I finally started my embroidery last night. I drew up my patterns for the main front piece Wednesday night,and yesterday I transferred that to the back side of my fabric. I did a few test runs to see which thread I liked better (I had a non-metallic gold, and a metallic gold to choose from), and which bead size…

Ever so vaguely crazy. I can knock the basic dress out in a day or two. But I want to bead/embroider the whole thing. Will I manage this before Dragoncon while also doing my other projects? Stay tuned to find out.
