Some previews and snippets from the print version of SunDowner!! The back and cover A younger Ocha Britan, then and now Madison, then and now Miles Ocha Yay!

Sketchblog: Ocha and Piper
This is a back-dated post! In 2016 I went back through my old sketchbooks and “rescued” a lot of my old, lost artwork, and I’m slowly getting them re-added to my archives.

Art Post: Ocha oekaki
A more painterly oekaki doodle of Ocha. I did this real quick just to show my friend how an oekaki board worked. Early 2002. (Ocha had longer hair when she was younger, so this is a younger Ocha.) (oekaki was an online social drawing system.)

Art Post: Yuna oekaki (FFX)
I did this oekaki to look like the Lulu I did first, but this is my least favourite of the 4 FFX oekakis I did. Her face just doesn’t look right. I wish I’d planned it better. (oekaki was an online social drawing system.)

Art Post: A whole mess of SunDowner oekaki pics
I decided to post all of these together – these were all done throughout Feb 2002. I couldn’t get the expression on Qudiar’s face to look right, he looks far too happy. Kyte is good though. My second oekaki! a huge improvement over the first, cause I realised how to use layers. Heh. Still a bit sketchy and rough though.…

Art Post: Auron (FFX)
Auron is my favourite character. This picture got a little messy (I couldn’t find any good references of his sword, darnit), but I love the sleeve. Yes, the stupid sleeve is my favourite part. (oekaki was an online social drawing system.)
-
Art Post: Gandalf oekaki (Lord of the Rings)
Gandalf and Shadowfax, done in record time because I had to leave… messy watercolours but I’m happy with it all the same. There are a few things I would have fixed, but this is just an oekaki after all. (oekaki was an online social drawing system.)
-
Art Post: Ron and Hermione (Harry Potter)
For Tanja’s Valentine Project, the only couple I think will ever really happen… or, that is, should ever happen. I did a really rough sketch, scanned it, and used my lovely new tablet I got for Christmas to do the rest. I love my tablet!

Art Post: Harry Oekaki
A little Harry oekaki… sort of a mix between the “Odd Glowing Harry” from the Super Freak Out 3, and my Lulu oekaki from a few days beforehand. (oekaki was an online social drawing system.)
-
Art Post: Rikku oekaki (FFX)
I saved the linework of this one, because I think I want to recolour it in a bright sharper way someday. I think that would be more suited to it. Her face looks a little too manly, I could have fixed that but I didn’t notice it until later.

Art Post: Valentine’s Day!
Just a quick silly oekaki of Piper and Indy for valentine’s! Hehe, I’m quite happy with this one. I was going to use this as my backup Valentine if I didn’t finish the Gandalf in time. I think this may have been better…
-
Art Post: James and Lily oekaki (Harry Potter)
A little oekaki that I started on, but got called away from and didn’t get to finish. I sort of like the light, unfinished look anyway. (oekaki was an online social drawing system.)
-
Art Post: Gandalf (Lord of the Rings)
This was originally valentine’s day card, but after I finished I went back and redid the smoke and made it just a regular old Gandalf picture. In case you can’t tell, he is my favourite Lord of the Rings character. He’s kinda creepy here, I don’t think I worked on the eyes enough. Like the Ron/Hermione pic, I went from…
-
Art Post: Lulu oekaki (FFX)
This was the third oekaki I did, and it’s one of my favourites so far! I love lulu. I like this picture. (oekaki was an online social drawing system.)
-
Sketchblog: SunDowner cover and back
Rough sketch idea for the cover and back of the print version of SunDowner. It didn’t change much from this, but I did start over.
-
Art Post: Sirius oekaki (Harry Potter)
A silly little young Sirius oekaki… I wish I’d soften the outlines a little more, that’s the only thing that I don’t like about this. (oekaki was an online social drawing system.)
-
Art Post: Moony and Padfoot
At request, Moony and Padfoot for the vday project…
-
Art Post: Ginny Oekaki (Harry Potter)
Ah embarrassing!! My first oekaki. I didn’t realise you could use layers. I think I used a little of everything in this picture. Ugh! Heh. I’m more used to it, now. (oekaki was an online social drawing system.)

Art: Girls (SunDowner)
The girls in their issue 7 outfits (although piper’s has since changed). I guess they’re discussing something. Just a random thing I did…
