when i had another birthday
I love my hit tracker, it provides me with much needed entertainment everytime I look at it. Today’s bright spot: someone hit my blog searching for “Elijah+Wood+gets+a+spanking” Cath I know it was you! You freako! Again sorry for not being around much lately. It’s just been so busy. But my birthday has been swell, thank you everyone who dropped me…

Art Post: Padme
For one of my school projects this semester. After totally finishing it I got worried about her leg… I started second guessing myself and thinking it was too short. I actually went in and lengthened her leg and saved it as a separate file and made my dad come and look at them. He said the original looked fine and…

Art Post: Qui-Gon
For one of my school projects this semester. I really liked the pencil of this, but after the CGing it just doesn’t look as good. He doesn’t look as… craggy as he did in the pencil sketch, lol. The lightsaber effect was annoying to do. I would say hard, but it wasn’t really hard, just… annoying. There are some splashes…

when there was a nuclear disaster
I had such a weird dream last night. I dreamt that this nuclear reactor near us, like, had a meltdown. I woke up (in the dream not IRL) and everybody had burns from it on their face. It felt like a sunburn but it was numb to the touch. I was apparently living in this huge group house with my…

when leonard nimoy talked about the etruscans
So last night I went to sleep while watching the History International channel. Like usual. My remote is dead, has been for ages, I put it away on one of the shelves of the entertainment center so I wouldn’t lose it in case I actually got a new battery for it one day. The only other working the remote was…

when i had con flu
It was decided yesterday that I am exhausted. It’s just this tiredness that goes beyond tiredness. I went home from work early, skipped class and just laid around most of yesterday, alternately napping and reading. I was sick after DCon last year – I think I might have something again this year. I got a cool sticker for my car.…

when i wanted to be jack sparrow
For San Diego Comic Con next year I am going as Jack Sparrow, and I want to make my dad go as Barbarino (Barbossa). Wouldn’t that be neat?

when i wished i could dance in a field with a blonde woman and a little person
Kristie and I were talking the other day and I told her I love the song Safety Dance. She asked if I had ever seen the video, and I was like, yeah, I wish my life were like that everyday. But a few days past and the more I thought about it, I decided that no, I don’t think I’d…

when we wrote a LOTR fanfic
Wow, Emerald Rose actually emails you back after signing their guestbook. That’s so cool. They are awesome. I have my dragoncon report & digital camera pics up at my livejournal! Now that dragoncon is over, I’ve settled back into school and all that good kind of stuff, I can finally concentrate on answering emails and working on sundowner more. Just…

Dragoncon 2003 pics!
I’ve been a zombie all day. I feel like I haven’t slept in days and I’m so sore! But yes it was all worth it! Friday we got up at 4:30 and started getting ready. Cath got to my house around 5:30 and we took off to pick Ash up. We got to the airport, checked our baggage, and then…

when samara got me
I was crawling around in my closet earlier today looking for a shoe. The light in my closet has been broken for years, and the floor is completely covered with junk, so I was just sorta feeling around in the dark, probably breaking stuff by crawling on it. All of a sudden I came up with a handful of hair.…

Last minute-ness
1. My boxes made it to the hotel OK. 2. We are checked in for our flight. 3. My girls have their white tights. 4. Teela is finished, albeit somewhat ghetto-ly, lol 5. Neither girl is spending the night – picking up ash, meeting cat at airport. What’s left to do? 1. Double check everything in suitcase 2. Pack carry…

when i couldn’t focus because dragoncon
I am a nervous wreck. I’m up at 7 AM because I couldn’t sleep thinking about this weekend. I’m skipping my classes today – I would be completely useless. It would be pointless. I AM going to work though, that will keep me busy with things I need to do and may also calm my nerves. If I were off…

Padme, Susan, and Teela updates
And now… Amidala is finished enough. Susan is finished. Found my bra and fixed my hat. Everything is shipping out today. Everything except Teela. :\ Didn’t finish it last night – it’s going to have to ride in my suitcase. I finished everything except the snakey things on her chest… so I’m finishing that tonight.

Back here
I’m back over here on the local journal because cosplay.com’s journals are down for a bit. Once they’re back up I’ll move any new posts made here over there… Updates on Dragoncon costumes: Amidala is nearly finished – my headdress is done, I just need to style the wig around it. I need to add some velcro to the back…
