For 2 weeks at least. For 2 weeks I don’t have to worry about work.

I stabbed myself on the side of my thumb like right next to the nail with a pin saturday and it’s making it really hard to type on a normal keyboard, but I will persevere.

Ok first up, more white backdrop pics! Here’s a couple of favs of Troi:

Saturday we shot Belle and Padme/Taylor. I should have those up soon, but it’s taking longer to clean up the background of the Belle pics because it’s so HUGE so it was coming off the white backdrop set. We also had to take the boards up because Chase would arrange my skirt the way I wanted, then it would just sliiiiide across the boards because velvet on a slick surface? Nah. So we took them down and I’m just standing directly on the fabric backdrop, and my skirt kept making it wrinkle everytime I moved… so yeah. Lots of clean up.

There was also a random fly in my sewing room? Like I dunno how a fly got in my sewing room, but he was buzzing around and I said to Chase, “I wonder if the fly gets in a shot” and…

Wednesday we had Ash’s bday party! We picked up Kevin since his mom was out of town and brought him along too. He enjoyed the cake with the blue icing because it turned his whole mouth blue.

It’s warmed up here quite a bit, in the 60s – but Luna is in her blanket era.

Friday we had game night with the cousins, Saturday we had more Christmas shopping to finish up (as well as a HUGE grocery shopping list for all the things we need to cook for Christmas events), then came home and did the photoshoot. Yesterday we had Christmas in jackson and then had to make a few more stops before getting home.

I’m off work today, I want to clean the house up a bit, but biggest thing is wrapping presents. I haven’t wrapped anything.

Oh! We did decide we’re going to do Huntsville con again next year – we skipped it this year so it’ll be nice to go back. We’re going to take Kevin. Can yall believe we haven’t taken him to a convention outside of Memphis since we took him to Star Wars Celebration in 2017?? And last time we took him to a local con was 2019. Crazy. I’m looking forward to taking him there.

Anyway, once I get the Belle and Padme pics uploaded I’ll do my year end wrap up and next year plans. Next year plans are like… nebulous at best, but I’ll try.
