what a glorious morning
Well, what a crap start to the day. My company is axing our division. Winding down ops in February. Only good news is that the company does want to keep me and move me to another division, so I’m still employed, but sick to my stomach anyway rn.

Also I have no pics of interest to post this week, it’s almost all Luna.
I did finish my Belle embroidery. Got all of the skirt swags sewn back on yesterday – now just need to sew the shoulder pieces back in place, and reattach the roses.

Got Christmas out but haven’t finished putting it up. Trees are up, still need to do lights and ornaments.

Luna hasn’t bothered the trees much in years but this year she’s been chewing on the living room one quite a bit. Going to have to get some orange peels and keep her away from it.

So a couple of weeks ago at Target we found one bag of the Stranger Things Doritos pizza/ranch flavor chips. They were stuck in an area where there were no other chips, and the place where they were supposed to be was empty. We bought it cuz Chase wanted to try it. Turns out they are really good. I’m not a chip-eating person unless there’s cheese dip involved, but even I really liked these. We found 2 more small bags at Walgreen’s a few days later, but everywhere else has been sold out.
Saturday night we decided to go on a quest to find more. Walmart’s site said they had some, so we went there and no dice. Chase said the target furthest away from us said they had some, so we went allll the way out there and walked around and didn’t see any. On our way out, I spotted them in the little self-serve cafe area. They had a whole shelf of them there! So like a couple of stoned teenagers we got 4 bags LOL

In other Luna news, there’s been this cat that keeps coming in our backyard and terrorizing Luna. We have several neighbor cats that wander around outside, and most of them are chill, but not this one. It’s a little calico with no tail. It’s territorial or something, and it tries to fight Luna through the windows. It’s torn up our window screens, and makes Luna go nuts. Not in like a fun playing way, in a screaming, hissing, violent way. So we got some plastic spike mats and put them outside the windows to at least keep the cat from coming right up to those windows in the living room.

Here’s hoping it works because it’s stressing her out.

That’s all I got for now. Gonna go be sick somewhere for a bit.

So sorry about your job. Hopefully the new division is a good team. Change is never easy. I also hope that Luna’s adversary gets the idea and finds another house to terrorize.
