look at all those chickens

Hey guess what! Last week I said I’d love to have the skirt motifs done by the time I’m writing this week’s blog post. I ALMOST MADE IT!! I’m on the last one and I’ll have it finished today! YAY!

Then I have to do the thing I’m dreading the remove the shoulder wrap from the top and do the embroidery there. I need to take a lot of pics so I can remember how it goes for reassembling.

So I should be done with it all this week. And then I can do the Scarlet Witch new skirt this weekend – I have everything I need, I just need to get dye. And maybe black bias tape. I noticed in a pic of me in Scarlet Witch from last week you could see the white bias tape waistband in a shot from the back. Yikes! Why didn’t somebody (CHASE) notice that? So I want to make sure it’s black this time so if that happens again it’s not so noticeable.

Got my haircut thursday. Here’s a rare non-costume selfie and also no makeup but my hair looks great so who cares.

Chase left Thursday to fly up to his home state for his uncle’s memorial service. So Luna and I were home alone for a couple of days, wondering if his flight home was going to be affected by the cuts.

Thursday night I cooked myself one of our homechef meals and kept the leftovers for lunch on Friday. Friday I went to dinner with my parents, came home and watched a movie. Saturday morning Chase got home on time! Yay!

We ran some errands. Came home and I worked on my embroidery some more. Around the time I went to start dinner, he realized he didn’t have his ipad with him. And that was around the same time I realized that homechef had left out the chicken from our chicken enchiladas.

He could see on Find My that his ipad was at the memphis airport. He called and they confirmed they had it at the police substation! Lucky. So we drove allll the way down to the airport, got his ipad, and then argued about dinner the whole way home, since we couldn’t eat the enchiladas. We ended up getting separate meals. LOL We watched the new GDT Frankenstein which I enjoyed.

Yesterday morning we ran to the grocery and got some chicken and made the enchiladas for lunch. Last night we went to make our 3rd homechef of the week – and the potatoes were bad. Chase went back to the grocery and got replacement potatoes but that’s 2 homechefs out of 4 this week that had something wrong with it. And last week we didn’t eat one of them because the potato was bad in that one too! We ended up just not doing that one at all.

Chase complained, they offered him a $5 credit which he rejected and asked for both meals to be credited since we had to leave the house TWICE to go buy replacements and we’re getting sick of this happening so often.

So this week is finishing up that embroidery, my scarlet witch skirt, and then maybe we can go ahead and start next weekend? The weekend of the 22nd. I’ll probably start easy and do my 3 disneybounds I need to shoot first – Picnic Padme, Post-Senate Amidala and Rizzo. Things nobody is waiting on photos of but ME! LOL
