Here I am again with nothing important to talk about or show. I also did not go in my sewing room at all in the last week, not even to clean up the attic stuff.
So now I’ve got 4 weeks to finish these capes. Which is do-able but I wanted to get an early start, ah well.
Finish is the wrong word for Baylan’s cape – correct for my Shin cape. Mine is assembled, I just needed to hem it, put on a neck closure, and weather it. I was thinking about remaking it from a thinner fabric because the wool I used is SO. THICK. But we’ll think about that later. The reason I say “finish” is wrong for Baylan is because his cape is still just a pile of uncut fabric LOL.

Thursday we finally started Agatha All Along, was going to watch one ep but ended up watching all 3 out so far. It was good! Looking forward to more.
Got a new halloween tablecloth for the dining room.
Also, we got some prints ordered to put in frames for the living room. I’m so excited.
Saturday we went to lunch with my parents and ran some errands. Went to Joann and I did not buy any fabric! (ours didn’t have the dragoncon carpet dupe.) I did buy a handful of patterns tho because they were on sale.
I’ve been wanting these Six patterns since they came out but everytime I catch a sale in store they never have them. This time the stars aligned. And this cute vintage witchy pattern was right next to them so I got it too.
Sunday I had planned to put out the outside halloween stuff. I also cooked a bolognese all day, and was going to go do halloween once I had it simmering on the stove for a few hours. Chase went out before me to do some weeding, but came back in after about 15 minutes and said the mosquitos were SO BAD he was giving up. So I didn’t go outside either. I am a mosquito magnet. Ready for the cold to come kill them all off.
This week I’ve got the anxiety inducing thing on Wednesday, a concert Friday, and I’m tagging along with Chase Saturday to a thing he wanted to photograph. Hopefully between these things I can finally dig into these capes. I’ll feel more like sewing after the anxiety inducing thing Wednesday hopefully.
Oh and I’ve been thinking about Wanda again with Agatha All Along. Thinking about getting started on the MoM version I have fabric for. Hmm.
