Ahsoka and Sally updates

First up, last weekend’s Make-a-Wish thing was fun. We got lost on the way there when the GPS told us to take a road that didn’t exist. But the mall it was at was really nice, and I think they raised a good bit of money. I haven’t heard, and I haven’t seen any pics yet – we didn’t take the camera so we didn’t get any ourselves.

We’re going to get it done, it’s just cutting it close and make me nervous. I’ve got all the fabric pieces finished, Chase has the headpiece basically made – he’s tweaking it and it needs to be painted, I’d say it’s about 60% done. Luckily he has Friday off (I don’t!) and we’ll have a good part of Thursday to work too, of course… so I think we’ll be ok. I got all my makeup last week, I need to practice with it.
I’ve already told Chase there’s no way I’m putting this costume on at the arena – we’ll be putting it on in the hotel room with plenty of time to spare, LOL. Yeah I’ll be stuck in it for a while but I’ll deal with it.

I’m really looking forward to putting this costume on and doing this event though!

I forgot to mention, I bought material for my Silk Spectre I costume a couple of weeks ago. I can’t wait to start working on it, I just need to get past Ahsoka first…
