I specifically used references from the Clone Wars episode “Pursuit of Peace” for this.
I really like this look; it’s pretty severe and intimidating for Padme! These Clone Wars costumes where she seems to have her hair “tucked up” are a weird one to deal with, it’s not a look we see her in in the movies, so trying to maintain the “short” look while also making sure it’s “Padme” is a balance.
This one I imagined as a heavy dark red velvet underskirt with an upper top of silk with suede insets/tabard. This one would be fun to actually make.
