So my headcanon for this one is Padme sneaking off to Tatooine to lead a group of rebels freeing enslaved people, hiding out in the desert and striking at night.
This was based off 2 pieces of concept art – one a very finished portrait and one a quick-looking marker sketch of full length.
I imagine the poncho to made a rough-woven material with painted on details and a very wide neck, held in place with a grey scarf piece of fabric. Loose-fitting knit or jersey pants and underskirt in a dark grey, with grey leather boots and gauntlets; shins wrapped from the knee to the ankle. A headband and metallic silver bun covers hold her hair in place, decorated with feathers and ribbons.
This is one of my fav pieces from the project!
(Also, this concept art for Padme was reused in the Clone Wars for Riyo Chuchi, if it look a bit familiar!)
