Wow two posts on the costume in one day. I went home for lunch and experimented with tacking the pleats down. I don't care for the "pucker" it creates but it does keep the pleats closer to the body, so it may be a tradoff I can live with.

I've got 3 more nights to work -- I've got to finish the wig, and finish tacking down the pleats. And paint my medallions and get them attached. I'm tackling the wig tonight - I'm hoping to FINISH it tonight, fingers crossed. Then Tuesday and Wednesday, tacking pleats, washing and restyling my Belle wig, and fixing one thing on Belldandy. Thursday: run errands, pack. I worked on it nearly all weekend. ...

I'll be at Momocon weekend after next! I've never been before so I am excited! At the moment I'm planning on bringing Donna, Belldandy, Belle, and Meg (which is new! I've got progress in my blog...). A couple of weeks ago, I had planned to do an outdoor location photoshoot with Chasing Photography of my new Belle ballgown. Well, we got rained out. So, to make up for it, we did a white backdrop shoot of four of my Belle costumes! I've updated each of my portfolio pages with some of my favourites :)
