#0096 – The Pilot’s Family
Based on Simplicity 4104 from 1942
Hera was a difficult one to do. I based this one on Simplicity 4104 from 1942 (which the other view for this pattern was the inspo for my Endor Leia earlier in the series.) This one ended being maybe a little too on the nose/close to the original look… I was going to leave her flight helmet/goggles off and do a hat and sunglasses, but she just didn’t feel like Hera without it. I do kinda wish I hadn’t done another WW2 military look for this one and instead pushed it to be something else so it wouldn’t look SO on the nose, but oh well. It’s still cute.
